Hello friends!! I have a fun new project that I am working on and wanted to share with you today. I went to the Scrap Gals Retreat back in April and haven’t even started my little mini album yet. I have been wanting to and I even have printed off all the photos. I decided to get it started a few weeks ago and I am loving it and having so much fun with it!
Here is a quick look at the first 2 pages of the album:
This is actually the cover of the album. Jessica Upton, the owner of Color Cast Designs came to the retreat and she was also a sponsor. She gave us this cute acrylic cover to use for a mini album and also the acrylic ‘Scrap Gals Retreat’ piece.
This is the first page I made for the album. I kept it simple and really love the purple and pinks!
This was the first selfie I took on Friday in one of the stores we went shopping at. I thought it was perfect to start the album off with.I used some pretty patterned papers to layer and the wood veneer piece from Jessica with the date on it.
For the second page I thought it would be fun to use these little pockets and make some tags with photos and journaling.
This is a group photo of some of the other ladies at one of the stores.
I did a little journaling on the front of the tags, but most of it was on the back. I embellished a little bit with some cute stickers.
You can watch my process video below for these pages and the cover:
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great Monday!
