Hello my scrappy friends! I am so excited to be bringing you this fun new series! I am going to try to post a new school themed layout every day for the next 7 days. I’m crossing my fingers I can get it done! Right now, I only have two layouts done, so I hope to get more done for you!
Today is actually a little special. I’m hosting this new series as a hop with fellow bloggers and YouTubers. So, at the end of this post I will have a line up of all the other amazing scrapbookers participating with me today! You won’t want to miss out on their layouts!
Come on over to the facebook group I have set up and we will have challenges all week long as well as prizes every day!!! We will all be sharing our layouts we make this week and also ones we’ve made in the past to help inspire everyone to get those school memories scrapbooked! That’s what this challenge is all about.
Here’s the layout I made:
I used the Shimelle Trues Stories collection for this layout and I am absolutely in love with it!! I wasn’t too excited about her collection when it came out like I was with the first one she made. I literally bought every single piece from her first collection. I just recently bought the paper pad for True Stories and I’m so glad I did!! It works perfectly for these school layouts I’m making!
I also used some epoxy bubbles I got in a Studio Calico kit I purchased in June 2014. I love the extra color and depth they bring to the layout.
My favorite part of the layout is that I crumpled the paper to kind of mimic the worn folder that Brynnan used all year long.
