Tasty Thursday ~ Pork & Potatoes

When I first met my husband, he invited me over for dinner and he made this for me. It’s really good and really easy to make. So this has become one of our family favorites!! I’ve actually made this for 3 different friends and they’ve all loved it and asked for the recipe. So here it is…

2-4 pork chops
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 can of water
4-5 potatoes, peeled and sliced
Salt and pepper
Italian seasoning

Place pork chops in a 13×9 casserole dish, add the potatoes all around and on top, and then add the cream of mushroom and water. Mix together and season. Cover with foil and cook at 375 degrees for about an hour.

Can you believe that’s it?!! It’s so simple. I especially love meals that only require one dish!

Me, too, Kay!! Me too! Dishes are my worst enemy! LOL

This sounds yummy! How fun that it has become a family favorite and it started with him making it for you! Thanks for sharing it with us!

And thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful Thursday!

  1. I will try this! We usually do pork chops in a cream of mushroom sauce too but we serve it over rice. This will be a nice change.
