For this weeks pinterest pick I chose to make a headband. Last night I was at the computer watching Grey’s Anatomy on hulu so I wanted to make something I could do while sitting there with headphones on, that meant minimal movement. So, I browsed pinterest and found this cute headband:

Cute, right? Mine didn’t turn out as cute as this, but I still like it.

I have an old purple shirt that I LOVED but it had some holes in it so I decided to use that. I cut off 2 pieces from the bottom. In the blog post explaining how to do it she says to cut from under the arm, but that you can use the bottom too, so I did the latter. I wish I would’ve done it differently. It didn’t turn out as cute since it had the bulky hem in it.

I’m not a very straight cutter so they were really jaggedy. I’m saving up my money for one of those slice cutters and a cutting mat. I’m close to getting it! Can’t wait!:)

And here I am wearing it today! What do you think?:) It’s not perfect, but it works. I think I’ll try it again with a different shirt. This one wasn’t rolled up like the one in the tutorial was. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s too worn out?
