Whatever Wednesday

Good Morning!! I’m happy to be here today to share with you a couple projects I’ve been working on. They are anything big, but I’m proud of them and I had fun making them:

I made a set of mini korker bows for my sister, Kaylee’s, daughter, Malaya. I have been wanting to do this for a while now, but just haven’t bought the neccessary tools needed for it. Kaylee asked me a few weeks ago if I would make her some so I finally buckled down and bought the supplies (dowels and clothes pins) and set to work. I tried doing the no sew method, but it was driving me crazy because the ribbons wouldn’t stay still, no matter what I tried using to keep them all together:P So I ended up sewing them, which I think I like that method better, at least for these little mini bows.

I’m going to make some more mini bows to put in my Etsy shop and then I think I’ll make some big ones too. These are all of the ribbons I cooked up on Monday:)

Last night my friend and I had a bow making night together. It was fun!! She showed me how to make these rosette’s that I’ve been wanting to make forever.  They were so easy and fun to make!! I made to of them and added some bling to them. I just need to add the clip and they’re ready to go!

Here’s a close up of one of them. I really like how they turned out!:) I used a fabric scrap from the stash my mom gave me. Thanks again Mom for helping me start to build up my fabric collection!!

What have you been working on lately? Link us up if you have a post about it! I’d love to see pictures!!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great Wednesday!

  1. Hey! We had some bows like that we bought from WalMart a couple of years ago! They look exactly the same, just different colors. That must mean you are a professional! 🙂 But ours fell apart, probably because they weren’t sewn!

  2. I had so much fun making bows last night! I’m hoping I have a moment tonight to make some more, but dude. My house is a pit. I should probably work on the messiness of my house.

  3. Hi! I’m your newest follower and co-host of this month’s blog hop. Thanks so much for joining in on the fun 🙂 I’m looking forward to getting you know you better!

    These are adorable!!
