Can you believe that it’s already the LAST week in January??!!! I seriously cannot believe it! Where has the time gone this month? *SIGH*
Well, I have a lot of plans for this week because I didn’t get as much done last week as I had planned on. It’s ok though, I am giving myself an extra day on Friday to wrap everything up that I didn’t get done before I start February’s organizing and cleaning room.
This week I am going to be doubling up and working extra hard on Monday and Tuesday… at least that was my goal until Monday (today) became a SNOW DAY!!! I don’t know about you, but having all 3 kids home throws off my cleaning and organizing schedule, actually it just throws everything off, so much!! It drives me crazy not to be able to do everything I planned for the day. That’s one of the biggest reasons this post is so late. I’m off my rocker schedule for today. I’m hoping that tomorrow they will be back to school and I can get back to cleaning and organizing!!
So, for now, I’ll share what I had planned on doing this week and we’ll see how that goes with the remainder of the week, since it’s already after dinner and we all know I won’t lift a finger once it gets dark 🙂
Monday – Clean inside the oven & the stove top, clean the last kitchen cabinet, clean windows & blinds with soap & hot water
Tuesday – Clean & organize Fridge and Freezer, organize pantry
Wednesday – Organize and put away papers on the table (I think I should make this a weekly chore….)
Thursday – Organize Command Center, Organize kids Daily chores and schedules, Review kitchen cleaning schedule
Friday – Make up any chores not finished during the week
I am so excited to cross off these last few things on my kitchen organizing list! I feel so much better once I have checked everything off and it still looks so clean!! Let’s hope it stays clean for at least another month:)
I’d love to hear about what you’re going to organize this week or what you have been organizing. Remember, I’m following along with Jenn over at Clean & Scentsible. She has a lot of great cleaning and organizing posts for the kitchen in her Household Organization Diet Challenge.
Here are some links to a few of her posts I will be utilizing this week as I clean and organize:
Thanks for stopping by!! Hope you have a wonderful night!
Let’s Get Physical! Hey, I’ve been a teeny bit organizational this week, which has made me very proud. Gage, Micah, and Sadie have all moved up in size, so I’ve been packing away their small sizes and washing and putting away their new stuff. Which for Sadie means we’ve been buying her cheap $5 shirts at Wal-Mart, because she doesn’t have a box with the next size up. 🙂
Sounds like you are doing well with you plan… I wish I could be more organized. Ever since the arrival of my baby in the fall, I haven’t been able to get back into a routine!
