I have sooooo many projects going on right now it’s getting crazy! Well, ok, by so many I mean maybe 3-5 of the same kind and 2 different kinds. They’re all surprises too so I don’t want to spoil anything, but I’ll give you some ideas to what I’m doing:)

This headboard I got for FREE on freecycle.org in my local area. Mark and I have never had a headboard and we have been married for almost 9 years. We’ve never had any REAL bedroom furniture before, except for the cheap target dressers and an old nightstand of his and a cheap bookshelf.

Here are some progress pictures so you can see how it’s going with this:

I started sanding by hand on Monday. I didn’t think it would be that hard, but I did it for about an hour and a half that day and it HURT!

Plus I didn’t get very far, soooo…. I called a friend in my ward and she said I could borrow her electric sander. Woohoo. I went over and grabbed it last night and now this is what it looks like today:

Yeah!!! I LOVE the electric sander. It was amazing! I did all of this in about 30 minutes. I did a little bit without the sander because I broke it… yeah, not sure what happened but I turned it of for a second and put it down. When I went back to turn it on it wouldn’t turn on! YIKES!! I really hope I’m just dumb and didn’t break it! lol

Like I said I signed up for freecycle about a month ago and it has been wonderful. I have given away things we don’t need anymore and I’ve gotten great things in return to use. Like this shelf:

I am going to be redoing my craft area so this will go there perfectly!! I’m so excited about it!!:)]

I’ve also been making bows and I want to get into selling them. We’ll see how that goes over:)
