I love and hate Monday’s. Why? Well, I hate Monday’s because it’s the start of a new week and it was nice having 2 days “off”. Also because they’re so busy trying to get things going again for a new week. I Love Monday’s because of the new sales going on, doubles (if we get them that week) and it’s a new week to start fresh.

Well, yesterday was BUSY!!! I worked out, took a shower, played with the kids, then I had to get them lunch and take Brynnan to therapy. While he was at therapy I ran to Target. I had a huge list and a ton of coupons!!

I spent $55 and saved almost $20.

My total before coupons was $74. I had coupons for everything except the two water bottles, which were pretty expensive ($4.99 each!:P) I had 2 coupons for the Zantac medicine, 1 target and 1 manufacturer, so I only paid $.59 for it! I’ve never tried it before, but I figured I’d give it a try the next time I have heartburn for only $.59!!:) The Bic pens cost $.50 each, the sharpies were $.54 and the papermate pens were only $.02!! The bread was free (on sale for $1), but I had a coupon for $1 off wyb (when you buy) Target brand eggs and bread. The eggs were $1.27. The toy is for Brynnan’s birthday that is in 2 weeks!!! I found a 25% off Trio toys coupon on Targets website so I got him a batman themed toy that I know he’ll LOVE:) The toy was $19.99 so I got it for only $14.99.

The L’oreal hair color kit was normally $9, but it was on clearance for $6.78 and I had a $2 coupon. The contact drops I got on clearance too. Originally, $9.29!!!! When I saw that price I was flabbergasted, it’s a teeeeeny bottle!!! They were on sale for $6.29 so I paid only $5.29 with my $1 off any opti-fresh product. The Bounty paper towels were on sale for $16. I returned the ones I bought last week for $18.99 because they were the HUGE kind and they wouldn’t fit on my holder.

I was kicking myself as I left the store though. I went in to buy the dog food that was on sale and use my gift cards I’ve accumulated. Well, they didn’t have the dog food in yet and I forgot to use my gift cards:P So I could’ve spent a ton less, but I guess when the dog food does come in I can stock up on it and not pay full price for it:)

Later in the day I went to Walmart and Albies:

This isn’t my whole purchase from Albertson’s. I forgot to set everything up before I put it all away so this is only half of it. I spent $22.42 (I think, I can’t remember the cents exactly). I also bought 5 boxes of Kellogg’s cereal and 2 gallons of milk. I had coupons for everything, except the chips and the fruit can. I had 2- $1/fruit wyb 2 boxes Kellogg’s cereal. The cereal was on sale for $1.99 wyb 5. I also got a $5/5 Kellogg’s cereals in Sundays coupon inserts. so the cereal only cost $.99 each!:) The banana’s were about $4, I think so I only paid $2 for them and the chips were B1G1 FREE!!:) they were $3.49. I had 2 coupons for the oreos and the milk I had 2-$.75/1 gallon and 1 Free gallon catalina. I didn’t realize I had handed both $.75 off coupons to the cashier, so I wish I hadn’t used one of them, but oh well. Still a great deal! 🙂

At Walmart I didn’t use any coupons so I didn’t take any pictures, but I did find cheaper water bottles. They were $3.74 so I bought those and will return the other to when I go to Target later this week or next.
