Hello there friends! It’s been a LONG time since I’ve graced you with my presence, so I thought I’d jump on and show you what I’ve been up too. I’ve been scrapbooking like crazy so I can keep up with my goal of getting done with 2008 this year.

SO, uuuummm, I changed up my birthday challenge a bit and I don’t think I even came on here to blog about it!! My goal for the past 2 months has been to make 31 layouts by my 31st birthday, which is on April 29th!! That’s 5 days away!! Dont stress though, I’m almost there and only have FIVE more layouts to complete!!

I got kind of behind during Kids Clothing Week, but I’m making up for it pretty well so far!! I did THREE layouts yesterday and one the day before. I’m working on my fifth as you read this and possibly even my sixth!! Woohoo!!

Anyway, I have started recording my scrapbooking process and getting into using YouTube more. I myself have started watching process videos and I LOVE it!! It helps me feel excited to scrapbook and gets the creative wheels running. There are so many amazing scrapbookers on YouTube, I wish I could watch them all, but alas life needs to consist of more than just scrapbooking, dang it!!

I have 2 layouts to show you today, one of them I did record myself making, but it was a total disaster! So, I’m not going to put it on my YouTube channel, unless you REALLY beg me to put it up, then I might, but if no one wants to see it I’m not going to bother with it. I did a lot of talking in it and the recording lasted about 2 hours!! When I was done with it I couldn’t believe it had taken me that long, but I did have to stop recording off and on because it was on a Sunday afternoon and I needed to be a mother to my kids every now and then.

The next layout does have a video and it is my very FIRST process video on YouTube! I thought it would be cute to call each year a season and each video an episode so this layout video is called ‘Scrapbook Process Video Season 1 (2014) Episode 1’. What do you think, does it sound stupid?!! Be completely honest with me. If you hate it I’ll scrap the idea!

I LOVED how this layout turned out!! It’s the first one I made in under an hour and I actually did layers and embellishments! That’s amazing to me!! Before I started making process videos I would literally spend 2+ hours working on my layouts! I really think doing these process videos is going to make me a better and faster scrapbooker!!
