Good afternoon to everyone! Are you glad to finally have me grace you with my presents today? LOL I have been trying to get on the computer all day to write up this post but I am potty training my VERY stubborn and unwilling 3 year old boy. It’s going ok… I have to take him to the bathroom about every 15 minutes or he has an accident. He knows when he has to go, he’s just not telling me, the little stinker!! He’d rather pee in his underwear and get all soaking wet. FUN!! I did 5 loads of laundry yesterday! 5!! How did I do this before? I thought Brynnan was a hard kid, but Tinian feels so much worse than Brynnan was. Probably because I have blocked out those memories never to relive those days again! *SIGH*
Anyway, I told you about the 16 week DIY link up party I’m participating in, right? Well, I’ve been linking up every week and having so much fun!! This coming Sunday the link up party theme is Spray Paint. Yay!! Who doesn’t LOVE spray paint??!! 🙂 I’ve done quite a few projects having to use spray paint, namely, ribbon storage shelf , ribbon storage shelf 2, a Queen headboard (which I haven’t blogged about yet, for some reason!!), and now today, I am going to add to the list of spray paint projects with PUMPKINS!!! Yes, I spray painted some pumpkins. And it was so easy and fast! I loved it!
The fastness of it was mainly because I spray painted 3 little baby pumpkins, but they turned out so cute, if I don’t say so myself, and I’m happy with the result!
I was browsing on pinterest (of course) a few weeks ago trying to plan out all the projects I’m making for the link up themes. I started browsing pumpkin decorations and came upon quite a few pins that had pictures of pumpkins painted white. I LOVED how they looked! So elegant and pretty, but still so Halloweenish. It’s not often you come across pretty halloween decor.
Now that I’ve babbled on for long enough I can move on to the project I created….
I made cute little pumpkins white and cut out letters for the word “Boo” with my Silhouette. What do you think?
I was using an old can of spray paint so I knew I wouldn’t have enough for all 5 of the pumpkins, which is why they’re not all painted. I like how they turned out. It was such an easy project and will be fun to display outside on our window ledge.
Thanks for stopping by today!! Hope you have a great weekend!
