I was in JoAnn’s this morning to buy some more supplies for the market next week. They’re having an AMAZING sale on patterns!!! I’m going back on Monday to get more!! they’re normally $14 for Simplicity patterns, they’re on sale this memorial day weekend for 5 for $5!!!!! $1 each!! And you don’t have to buy 5 to get the deal! I’ve had my eye on a certain girls dress pattern for a month now. It looks easy and way CUTE!! They have an example up on a model and that’s what caught my eye.

Cute, right??!! I LOVE it!! The dress I want to make is the second one on the second row. CUTE, CUTE!! I love it! I have some 4th of July fabric that I got from my mom that I thought would make a cute dress, but I was measuring it today after buying the pattern and talking to my mom and it won’t work, unfortunately! So, I’m going to buy a couple different fabrics and put the dress together in the coming week. I’m still working on making more burp cloths and such, but I think the dress will take up most of my time.

I’m excited about it! I’m trying to be optimistic about doing it on my own without know anything about sewing. I had to call my mom to ask here what “notions” and “naps” were!! Haha! I think she had a good laugh about that:) I really wish she lived closer so we could do more sewing together!! And now she’s moving even farther away!! In 2 weeks she’ll be in Virginia, again! They lived there a while ago and now they’re going back. I’m excited for them though because they bought a GORGEOUS house! My step dad has been in the military for the last15 years of their marriage and he just retired. So they finally are buying a house of their own that they can do whatever they want to with. I wish I could go help her set it up!! that would be so much fun!!

Anyway, wish me luck on making this cute dress!! If you know anything about sewing and are in Idaho Falls I would LOVE some guidance!!:)
