Happy Monday everyone!! I hope you had a great weekend and are ready to get back to the daily grind of things.
Do you like to make Valentine’s Day gifts for you kids’ teachers? I sure do! It makes me so happy to make crafts and things for other people. And my boys’ teachers are always so happy and thankful for all the gifts.
Well, today I have a cute and easy Valentine gift idea for your kids to give to teachers, therapists or other special people in their lives.
It was actually my husbands idea and I was so touched that he thought it up for me! I told him in mid January I was trying to think of Valentine gift ideas for my blog and he texted me with this idea:
He works for a marketing company who advertises for the spice company named Johnny’s. We get SO much of their stuff for free and they had a bunch of the little mini bottles of seasoning salt just sitting around. He asked his bosses if he could have them and brought them all home to me. There were 15 in total and my kids only need about 7 of them so I called my friend and offered some to her too.
My husband made up a cute and simple printable to tie around the bottles that says, “You spice up my life”. I did a print and cut with my Silhouette Cameo of the tag and then tied them onto the bottles with some bakers twine. It was an easy project and I know their teachers will love it! 🙂
Adorable, right?! I LOVE how it all turned out!
While I was tying the tags on the bottles I kept stacking them on top of each other to make a little spice tree and I thought it looked cool. Do you do silly things like this, then show your husband and he thinks you’re so weird?!!! I did just that and he was like, ‘What is wrong with you’. Haha. I get a kick out of myself at least and that makes me laugh so I’m ok with how weird I am.
I have the printables for you in a few different files. I have the print and cut file I used in the Silhouette Studio program as well as a jpg and a pdf. Download the files here.
If you use this idea I’d love to see pictures!! You can email me at email@example.com
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great Monday!
