Well, this week in weather has been AWFUL!! WINDY and COLD. HATE IT!!! The kids had their Field day on Wednesday and it was so FREEZING!! The annoying thing is that on Monday it was 90 degrees and not windy!!!

Anyway, I’ve been working nonstop and really hard on sewing bibs, burp cloths, and making cards. I was also finishing the kids’ teacher gifts, which is a whole other post itself. CRAZY week!! I finally finished sewing all the burp cloths I was going to make, 7 in total. They’re really easy to do, but pinning the pattern to the fabric, cutting it out, pinning the two sides together sewing, turning it inside out, sewing some more…. It’s a LONG process!! I also made 7 cards, which didn’t take as long, but I always agonize over perfection so they take me longer than they should!! I really want to be good at making cards, but I’m just not. And I’m not going to give up on it yet.

As I was cleaning up after finishing the bibs today at about 4:00, I got a call from the Farmer’s Market lady. She said that they had to cancel the market tomorrow because there’s supposed to be thunder (75% chance of it) so they’re going to do it on June 2nd. Woohoo…. except for the fact that we were planning on leaving for our week long vacation to Reno that day. BUT I can’t pass up this free opportunity!! So, I’m going to do the farmer’s market on the 2nd and then we’ll leave on the 3rd.

I’m annoyed, but relieved at the same time. This way I can build up more inventory over the next week and not feel rushed about it. I can add more items and finish projects that I wasn’t going to be able to finish by today so hopefully I can make more money. I guess we’ll see.

Since I have a whole week to keep making more projects I’m going to head over to JoAnn’s today and get some more fabric. I made some bean bag frogs too and I think I’ll make a couple more. Don’t worry, I’ll post all about it when we come back from our vacation and tell you how it went:)
