I have been BUSY this past week!! My project week was awesome! I did everything I wanted too and a little more!:) I was very pleased with myself! Now I have many weeks of whatever wednesday posts planned for you so you won’t get bored!
First off, I’ll share my secret project that I couldn’t show you pictures of yet because it was a present for my Mother in Law:
I got the idea from this blog. I fell in love with the idea immediately!! AND since I have a Silhouette Cameo now, I didn’t have to spend tons of money on a stencil, either! I just cut out the design I wanted with my Cameo and used that as a stencil. Yay!
As I was taking pictures of it Tini came over to inspect it and make sure it was baby proof.
I am happy to say it was!:)
I thought it was really funny that he kept looking behind it like there was supposed to be something there too. Such a cute baby!:)
I know you’re just dying to see how to do this yourself!! I did mine a little bit differently than the original lady did hers. I bought a 12×12 board at Micheal’s for only $2!! Normally they’re $5 but I had a half off coupon, plus a 10% off entire purchase coupon on top of that! Woohoo!!
I also bought the frames at JoAnn’s. I stumbled upon them by accident and I was totally exstatic that I did because they worked out PERFECT as frames!! They were 3D wall art pieces so I just painted them and they worked great:)
I had the black vinyl already and all the paint I had already as well. This project cost about $15, the frames were kinda pricey, even on sale!:P But I think this turned out great and totally worth the $15!
I’ll be back tomorrow to show you how I made it all!! Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have an awesome Wednesday! Keep up the crafting and have fun!
That’s ADORABLE, Megs!! I looooove that stencil design.
