Good morning, everyone! I have a cute and simple craft for you today. I found the idea on pinterest HERE and kind of made it my own. I love how it turned out and I’m actually selling it in my Etsy shop if you’d like to buy it.
Here’s how I made my sign:
These are the supplies I used for the sign, not including the wood letters and hot glue gun. I was contemplating painting the side red to match the ribbon, but I decided against it in the end.
I painted the top first. I think I did 2 or 3 layers. I’m really impatient when it comes to projects like this so the paint wasn’t always fully dry, but it worked out fine.
Here’s the top when I was done with it, then I painted the sides.
I bought the wood glitter letters at Michaels for $1 each I think, or maybe they were $1.49, I don’t remember. The ribbon I had already and I got that from a friend. It’s a little ruffled on the edges, I really like how that looks! 🙂
I used my hot glue gun to put the letters on.
Then I glued on the ribbon.
I’m very happy with how it turned out.
I love the way the pink, red and white go together!
And I especially love the glitter. I’m not much of a glitter lover…. I mean it’s pretty and girly and fun, but it gets EVERYWHERE!! These wood letters seemed to keep the glitter on them really well though so I might start trying more glitter crafts in the future.
Thanks for stopping by today! I have another easy Valentine’s day craft tomorrow so I hope you’ll come back to see it. Have a great Friday!
