Hello!! How are you all doing today? I am here to check in and let you know how my progress is going with working out and training for my 5k in August… last week was a doosy of a week. I think I went out jogging twice. AND I hurt my knee for pushing myself too hard on one of those days. So this is why I stopped running…
Anyway, my weight today is: 151.2
My starting weight was: 152.2
So, I have lost exactly one pound!! That actually amazes me!! I wasn’t expecting anything. In fact I wouldn’t have been surprised if I had gained a little. Well, thankfully that didn’t happen and I’m moving in the right direction.
Today, I am off to do my morning run with my dog and baby. Hopefully, I will be able to stretch enough and get a good warm up walk in so that my knee’s or ankle’s won’t get mad at me!! How are you doing on your weight loss program or work out schedule?
Wow, way to go, Megan! I’ve been dieting for a while now and have lost a lot of weight…and from this experience I would say that you should take your “before” measurements. Somedays you might seemingly not lose anything or you might plateau…but the numbers on the scale don’t necessarily show all that’s happening. Take those measurements and you’ll be able to see where you lost weight/built muscle and however much. I think it’s cool to pinpoint that kind of stuff. Good luck on your workouts!
