Ok, it’s time for me to get back on the wagon of losing weight. I was all gung ho about it before some came along. There’s something about having all 3 kids at home that just unmotivates me. LOL
Anyway, I was talking to a friend of mine and she said that we should come up with a plan and hold each other accountable. That way we’re at least trying to lose weight! Woohoo! So, let’s get started…. This is my plan so far:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings I’m going to go jogging after I drop the boys off at school. I have some friends that have been kind enough to say they’ll babysit Tini so I can do this. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I will strap Tini into the stroller and take Nemo for his daily walk. Saturday and Sundays will be my days off:) Also, I’m going to fit in some weekly sessions of Zumba with friends, so that I can enjoy working out at least some of the time. hehe.
How does that sound? I’m pretty optimistic about it. I started out yesterday and it felt GOOD!! I walked around the track for about half a mile and then started to jog and walk intermittently every couple minutes. I was able to jog for longer periods of time, I realized, and it didn’t hurt!! It was amazing!! Of course, I’m sore today!! SO SORE!! I can’t even sleep off the soreness. Sometimes I can sleep and I feel better, that didn’t happen today, but I’m hoping that when I got for my jog tomorrow that it’ll feel good again and my body will get used to the routine quickly.
