Hey everyone! I wanted to get on today and share my measurements and photos with you. Last year I started out at 159 lbs in January. my goal was to lose 40lbs by the end of the year. Haha, that definitely didn’t happen, but I did lose about 10. I had some help with that though, at the end of August/beginning of Sept I cut my hair all off to support my friend who had breast cancer. That helped me lose about 2-3 lbs! woohoo! After I cut my hair I had my son take photos of me in the same workout clothes I wore in photos back in January.
I stressed last year when I first posted these pictures that this is very hard to do! I am letting you see me at my worst. It’s very hard to post these pictures, but at the same time I am very proud of myself. I mean, LOOK at what I started out at and where I was last fall!! I look so much SKINNIER!! I know I’m not actually skinny, but looking at these pictures and comparing them makes me FEEL skinny! Does that make since?! lol I lost 10 lbs and I look great!! I really didn’t even put it together until I saw these pictures next to each other. 10 lbs is a lot! I am really proud of myself. Now, I just need to lose the last 25 lbs this year and I’ll be golden! My goal is to get down to 125 lbs. I also want to firm up my abs and legs and arms as well.
Anyway, here are the pictures so you can see the difference between January and August:

At the beginning of this year, January 5th, I weighed 148lbs. I now weigh 145 lbs!!! That’s about 3 pounds over the last 3 and a half weeks!! I feel awesome about that!!
My waist measured at 39 in., right arm 12 in, right leg 21 1/2 in, and my neck was 13 1/2 in. I will post my measurements next week after I do my 4 week weigh in and remeasure myself. I’m not sure I’ve really lost any inches, but I guess we’ll see. My pants do feel a little bit looser, so maybe I have.
