Ok, so last week was a total BUST!! I had so many problems with those suits I was making that I didn’t have ANY extra time to organize anything! I am lucky the house got cleaned at all and that was only because I have my boys to do most of that work:) I’m just here guiding them.
So, I wrote down IN DETAIL what EXACTLY I want to organize this week. Every day I am doing something and it’s up to me to get it done! I know I can do it. Frankly, I’m tired of the mess I’m living in!! I’ve gotten some #happymail this past week from ScrapbookSteals so I NEED to get it all organized with everything else!
I sat down yesterday and wrote everything out, hour by hour for each day. If I don’t stay on schedule I’ll deal with it. I can handle a little bit of flexibility with the schedule I have planned out. Basically, I wanted to get it in my head what to do and when. I’ve realized this summer that if I do everything at a certain time every day, it’s bound to get done. With that in mind, here’s my schedules for each day this week. I got a new day planner printable from a new favorite blog I’m now stalking… Abby from Just a Girl and her Blog. I recently happened upon her post on how she organizes her life and she introduced me to something called Time Blocking. I’ve never heard of it and was very excited to learn about it. You should go on over and check out that post HERE. Her printable is WAY cute and cute things always make me want to get stuff accomplished.

Aaaaaand that’s a wrap on my week! Or at least how I have it planned out. I’ve tried doing this before a couple time, I had no idea it was called Time Blocking, but I always get sidetracked. This week I will be trying my hardest to STAY on track!! 🙂 I did a pretty good job the couple days I did it last week. I wasn’t perfect, but pretty good compared to what I thought!!
Now, I guess I better get my butt into gear. The craft room isn’t going to clean itself this week! (Oh, how I wish it could!!)
Thanks for stopping by! Hope to see you back later this week! I have a fun guest poster with a Yummy recipe showing up on Thursday!
I’m laughing so hard as I read this…you are about to conquer the world girl! Me & to do lists don’t get along…I have a fear of committment, but you- you could run a military batillion with this level of planning! I’m rooting for you- you got this! Go kick your craft rooms booty!
Lol I’m laughing as I reread it! 🙂 I’ll be happy if I accomplish half of this! Thanks for the encouragement:)
Let’s get physical!! Maybe when I can just handle…living…with my children…then I can try to do time blocking. Because I feel like NOTHING gets done at my house every day. That may be because I live in a house full of slobs.
Yay! I’m so impressed with how you’ve organized your whole week! Wow! Hope it’s working well for you! Have a great day!
~Abby =)
Thanks Abby! It has been helping out a lot!! Thanks for the cute printable.
