Hello fellow scrapbookers! I have a layout to share with you today that I am absolutely IN LOVE with!! I used the new Paige Evans line to go along with this challenge to scraplift myself. This is the layout I decided to lift:
I made this one back in 2015 using a Clique Kit and I still really love it, but my style has definitely changed a lot since then! This photo is one of my favorites and I love how all the papers make the black and white of it stand out.
This is the layout I ended up making. I think it is one of my favorites I’ve made recently!! I love the photos! Aren’t my boys just adorable?!!! These photos were taken on Mothers’ day 2013. I love scrapping old photos of my boys. I miss them as little kids and I have fun reliving these memories as I scrap.
I used some ephemera and chipboard pieces from the collection. When I was looking through everything this ‘Everyday’ die cut totally stood out to me. My boys really are my Everyday. They are the reason I get up in the morning and the reason I got to bed. Haha! I used the cute little navy blue tile letter stickers to add the ‘My’ and I wrote in the date. I will eventually do my journaling on the off white tag. I have a lot to say so I wanted to make sure I added a big tag.
When I saw these photos I knew immediately that I wanted to make a layout about being a boy mom. It is so different from having girls and all I have known is raising boys. I think if we had had girls our lives would’ve been very different. Of course we would’ve loved it, but I am so glad that we were blessed with these three amazing boys!!
I did not have a hard time with this title. I love it when a title just happens and you don’t have to think very hard about it. I honestly believe that I was Made to be a boy mom. I am pretty tom boyish myself and don’t really do a whole lot of girly things. I did want to add some flowers to the layout, even though it’s all about being a boy mom. I am still a girl, so that’s ok, right!!
