Cheeky Studio Moodboard Challenge ~ 15 Years

Hello and Happy Thursday everyone!! I am getting this post up a day late but I wanted to make sure to share this challenge and layout I made with the amazing Valentine’s Day kit over at the Cheeky Studio shop. You do not want to miss out on it so head on over there before it’s gone!! Make sure to use the code Craftymeggy10 for 10% off your purchase!!

Here’s the moodboard I created. I wanted the focus to be love, since we’re coming up on February which is the month of love and a lot of people celebrate Valentine’s day. My husband actually HATES that holiday though so we don’t really celebrate. Because of this fact I decided to stay away from the traditional pink and reds for the holiday and focus more on Love. I wanted to challenge people to be inspired by love in different ways. I added the dog and child in the swing and the cute little whale saying to make that a little more clear. I would love you to join in on this challenge and scrap a layout inspired by this moodboard.

And this is the layout I made. I am in love with the roses and the alpha from the Valentine’s day collection. My husband and I celebrated 15 years of marriage at the beginning of January so this was the perfect challenge for me.

I also used this sketch that was made by my fellow design team member Heather. Make sure to come on over to the facebook group and post the layouts you make with each challenge!

I had these two photos of my husband and I that I wanted to put on the layout. I printed them off in Black and White on my Canon Selphy.

I absolutely LOVE the roses and feathers that are in this collection in the shop. I clustered them here next to the title and I also used one of the die cut phrases.

I stuck to a pretty obvious and boring title for this layout. I used the floral Valentine’s day alpha and love how that looks!

Here’s another cluster of flowers and feathers. I also added some of the Vday sequins and flair as well.

I added this cute frame with flowers and some more roses and a bow at the top of the photos to finish the layout off.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing this layout. Make sure to come on over to the facebook group to enter your layouts into all the challenges we have going on! You will be entered into a chance to win a $5 gift certificate to the shop!
