Hello scrapy friends! I hope you are having a great weekend!! I am still plugging along with my Citrus Twist Kits and loving it. I had to take a little break with scrapbooking because I went on vacation for a couple weeks, but I’m back and ready to play again!

For today’s layout I kinda went a little crazy with color. I have some scraps left from the main kit and then I also ordered the embellishment kit and the “Best Day” Add-on kit. I loved the frames that came in the add on and had to use them on this layout, but that meant there were about 6 different colors on the layout. I’m torn between really liking this layout and thinking it’s a bit too much. Do you ever get like that?

So, what do you think? Is it just right or a little too much? lol I had fun making it and I’m glad I kept going. At one point I wasn’t sure if I liked it and I wanted to stop and scrap the whole thing, but I pushed on. In the end it worked out, but that doesn’t always happen.

I love this photo and am happy I have this memory scrapped. I will do a little bit of journaling on the top card sticking out from behind the photo.

My title was a very easy and obvious one, I scrapbook for my kids to look back on the memories of our lives. When I find them actually looking at the scrapbooks it just makes my heart happy!

I wanted to use a lot of stamps on this layout so I picked out some of the words and phrases from the stamp set in the kit and used my Close to my Heart Slate ink to stamp underneath the photo. I really love how that turned out!

I used a tag and some of the embellishments from the Add-on kit to embellish the top corner.

These frames and the banner are my favorite part of the layout. I really love this cluster with the books too.

I had a little “ooopsie” moment so I had to make another cluster down in the bottom right around where the title is and it worked out perfect!
