Cultivating Creativity #4 ~ Felicia’s Grid Challenge

Hello, Hello, scrapbookers!! I have another fun challenge for you this week. Felicia wanted us to make a Grid style layout. I waited until the last minute to make my layout, but I really love the outcome!!

I had printed about 6 photos off that go along with these 4. I wanted to keep them all the 3×4 size so I narrowed it down to these 4 that told the whole story. This layout totally just fell in place and I absolutely love it. It’s simple, but not too simple.

First, I decided to use scraps I already had on or around my desk. Whenever I get a kit or buy sometime from an online company and they put tissue paper in the box, I ALWAYS keep it!! I know that I will use it someday and this cute black and white polka dot tissue paper just happened to be on my desk that day. I actually had placed my photos on top of it just for a second before I started scrapping and I LOVED it so I used it as it was. I didn’t unfold it or move it and I love it!

The cluster in the bottom corner of that last photois my favorite! I used Cork clouds from the SpiegelMom Scraps shop, here Triple Axle sequin mix and a cute little flair that I bought from KJKareen’s Etsy shop.

I had previously cut out the word ‘winter’ from the Ready, Sketch, Go 2 class and I thought it worked perfect on this layout. I came up with this title and I really love it! I added a cloud and sequins in 2 spots around the title and my embellishing was done.

I really loved the design of the page, but I still needed to add my journaling to tell the story. I decided to use a paper bag from my stash and I will, eventually, make a cute card to stick inside it.
