Hello, crafters! Are you starting to get excited for Christmas? I know I am!! I LOVE this time of year. Last year I made my first December Daily album and I had so much fun doing it that I am going to make another one this year as well. I’ve already picked out my album and the collection I’m going to use. I can’t wait to get started!

I thought I would jump on and show you the album I made last year. So, let’s jump right in and get started! You can find the flip through video of all my pages with the photos below:

I really love how the cover turned out!! I think it’s my favorite part of the whole album, which is good because its the part you see first.

It was really thick!! At first I had planned to do all 30 days of December, but I could barely even fit all 25 days in it!! So that plan changed.

 

This is the 3rd page I made. We had a busy day so I did a 2 page spread so I could fit all the photos I wanted to get on there.

Days 8 & 9 ~ I really like these two pages!! I love the card on day 9 with the hot cocoa and other embellishments I used.

Days 10 & 11 ~ Another favorite of mine is day 10. I really love how the title card turned out!

Day 12 was another 2 page spread. I really like the blue and red together. I didn’t think I would, but I do!

Day 14 was a fun day. We had our church Christmas party so I made that one a 2 page spread too.

Days 16 & 17 were somewhat easier days. I didn’t actually take any photos on the 17th so I had to grab a photo from my friends facebook page and then I also printed off the weather for each day of December and outlined the date on that day.

Days 18 & 19 ~ I have a blank spot on the right side of the day 19 page. I don’t remember what I was going to put there, maybe some journaling that I never did? Maybe I can go back and find another picture for that spot.

I love driving down candy cane lane and reading Christmas Stories together as a family. This time of year is just so much fun!!

Day 22 & 23 ~ My boys were out of school and we made cookies and I finished sewing up their Christmas pj’s.

Day 24 & 25 ~ Our Christmas Eve tradition is to go see a movie at the Theater as a family. We went to see Big Hero 6 and we all loved it!! Christmas morning we had fun opening presents!

More photos of the cover. I really had a lot of fun making this cover. I mean the whole book was fun to make, but I am really the most proud of the cover!

What is your process as you go through the album? Do you make your pages and add your photos all at the same time or do you make the base of your page and add pictures later?
