Helllloooo scrapbookers!!! Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! I am excited to share my second layout using this months homemade kit. For this one I pulled photos from a trip to my husbands bosses summer cabin. We had so much fun going and staying there so I thought it was about time to scrap these memories.
This is my kit that I’m using this month. If you haven’t seen my kit share you can check that out here or click on the image above to be taken to YouTube.
This is how my layout turned out. I’m so in LOVE with all the clusters. There are three of them and each one have a butterfly, ribbon and an arrow.
I love the yellow and teal blue papers together. I matted the photos with the white and yellow stripe. The treal blue behind that just make the yellow pop and bring your eye to the photos.
For the title I knew I wanted to bring attention to the fact that we were all outdoors. If you know our family at all, you’ll know that we aren’t that outdoorsy. It’s fun to see us doing things outside that we don’t normally do.
I think this cluster is my favorite! I love the patterned papers and then the ribbon. They’re so pretty together and bring out the color in the striped paper.
Super fun little cluster with the flair as well.
The title cluster is definitely my fav!! I love the two different alphas I used as well as the ‘celebrate’ embellishment piece.
And last, this cluster I kept really simple because the other two were very full.
I almost forgot one of the most important parts of my layout; the Journaling!! I made sure to journal about how we all loved riding on the 4×4’s while at the cabin and how Brynnan was the one that loved them the most!
Make sure to check out the video below. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you’re having a great day!
