Hello hello crafty friends!! I have a fun and simple layout I made using a sketch over on the Crafty Maven Getaway today.
This sketch was made by Laura Whitaker a couple years ago. I really loved that there were 5 photos on the layout and wanted to make sure I could include as many as I could. I was actually able to fit 5 on my layout as well. They did take up more real estate than on the sketch so my layout turned out a bit different.
This is my layout and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!! I decided to use the Newish Paige Evans ‘Turn the Page’ collection. I think this is probably my favorite collection right now!
I really love these photos of my son Jonas rocking it while climbing up this wall at his physical therapy back in February this year. The title came very easily as he really is such a super star!!
I thought this cute little bird at the top right was perfect to signify how awesome he did with climbing the wall. He climbed higher than he ever has before and the bird signifies him soaring. It was so awesome for me to be there and watch him succeed! I am so pround of him! He always works so hard at therapy.
I used a few of the clear stickers from the sticker pack in this collection. When I used these what I like to do is put them on white cardstock and cut them out. This makes them easier to use as just regular ephemera and embellishments. The stars were also a fun little piece to add texture, depth and color to the layout. I will do a little journaling on the tag under the ‘Dream chaser’ sticker, but there isn’t a lot of room. I am thinking I will add a tag to the top of the layout and do more extended journaling there.
