Get It Scrapped Layout Using Crayons in an Interesting Way

Hello Hello my friends! I am back with a Get It Scrapped layout today. I kept this layout really simple because I wanted the crayons to be the main focus, besides the photo.

For this assignment I was supposed to use Crayons on my layout in an interesting way. Immediately upon getting this assignment I thought of using the newish Tim Holtz Distress Crayons! I have heard so many things about them and have wanted to try them out, but just haven’t put an effort into buying them. I decided to do so finally and I absolutely LOVE them!! They’re so fun to play with! There are so many things you can do with them and I can’t wait to start using them more in my layouts.

Ok, let’s jump into the layout!

I decided to used the crayons as exactly that! I colored on the background paper directly behind my photos and that was good! I really love the texture it gives the layout.

I really liked this frame so I used it around the photo to bring your eye in to the photo first. The flowers in each of the corners help bring more interest to the layout.

I put more flowers in the bottom right corner of the picture as well.

And the title went in the bottom right corner. Mainly because I had a little mishap, which you can see what that was if you watch my process video below:

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Make sure to come on over to the Get It Scrapped blog today too to see what else I have to say about my layout!
