Hello and welcome to another layout I made with my Homemade kit for this month! This one I kind of threw together super quick and I’m still not sure how I feel about it. I think the layout took me about 30 minutes to make, which is not normal for me! I just wanted to get this layout done because I hadn’t been scrapbooking in a LONG time and it just fell together.

This is my finished layout. I really wanted to use this cut file that I got last year from a Clique Kits kit purchase. I’ve had it cut out for at least a year and so it was nice to actually use it on a layout! I liked the idea of putting a square patterned paper behind it instead of doing what everyone usually does with background cut files, backing each circle with a different patterned paper. I really love how this looks!

I had this ‘LOVE’ acetate piece that came in a Clique Kit a long time ago that I haven’t been able to use, but I stuck it in this kit and I was so happy with how it looked on this layout! I just a cute little ‘hello’ sticker over top of it and it just perfected the whole thing!

For the title I used an old Shimelle ephemera piece and a Cocoa Vanilla cut out word to spell out ‘Sweet Love’. It was very simple and easy and worked well with this picture of my middle son Brynnan and I napping on the floor with our little dog, Lilac.

I used up a few scraps of papers on this layout, which always makes me so happy and a few stickers from the sheet I included in the kit as well as some cut apart pieces.
