Hello scrappy friends! It’s been a little while since I’ve been on my blog so I wanted to jump on and share a layout I made this past week for my weekely Sunday challenge with some scrapbooking friends.

We thought it would be fun to challenge ourselves to make a layout in 15 minutes and I actually almost did it!! I went over by a minute or two and I’m so excited I was so close! I’ve participate in this kind of a challenge quite a few times and I’ve never hit the 15 minute mark, ever!

My idea with this challenge was to use up a bunch of scraps I’ve had floating around my scrap desk in the last month and I used up a lot of them! I save all of my branding strips and they were really getting on my nerves having them all tossed around my desk so I use up a few of them! Woohoo! Now I just need to do a layout with the rest of them and I’ll be all set. I don’t know why I have to save these small scraps, but I do.

I hope you enjoyed watching my process as I scrapped my layout in 15+ minutes! It was a little stressful, as it always is, but it’s always a fun challenge as well. I wish I had used spray mist instead of the gelatos because I didn’t quite have the time to spend making the gelatos look like I wanted them to in the end. I guess the next time I do this challenge I will know and learn from my mistake…. maybe! 😉
