Happy Valentine’s Day, a day late!! I hope you all had a great day filled with love!!

I wanted to jump on and share my Scrappy Challenge layout for the week. We wanted to work with the Valentine’s Day theme in mind because of the day that we celebrated this past Sunday. My husband and I don’t really make a big deal about Vday, so I naturally decided to scrapbook a photo of my kids and tell a non Valentine’s day story instead.

I made the background using a heart doily I bought from Michael’s last year after Valentine’s day. You can watch the video where I make this background here. The video is a product review for Tombow Mono Removable Adhesive and I used it to make the background.

The photo on the right is of my oldest son at 3 years old and the left photo is of me when I was about 3 years old. I really love both of these photos. They showcase how much alike Jonas and I look. I’m so glad I finally got this story down on a layout!

The collection I used was actually a digital kit I bought from ClaudiavanRDesigns on Etsy. It is gorgeous and I am so glad I bought it!!
