Hello my scrappy friends!! I have a fun layout for you that I made as a challenge for the kit clubs monthly party. I picked a layout from another kit member and scraplifted here. Here’s the layout I chose:
Isn’t it so cute? I really love the placement of the photos and the embellishments. For my layout, I tried sticking closely to the scraplift but it just didn’t work for my photos.
This is how I made my layout work with the scraplift. I really love how it turned out!! I don’t normally use so many patterned papers, but I am trying to push myself to do things differently and I love it!
I wanted to use a chipboard piece from my kit for the title. I decided on this on and I really love it. It portrays that going to the doctor is something we do a lot and that it was happening in these photos, which are both true.
I didn’t do much embellishing on this layout because of all the different patterns and how much space the photos and papers took up, I didn’t want to feel overwhelmed. I love this cut little cluster with flowers and hearts to go along with the journaling card.
I added another small cluster with a flower die cut from my kit and also a couple hearts.
This is an everyday type of layout and I love how I can show these days that are mundane and no fun, but use fun paper to make the layout pretty and exciting, even though the story might not be.
I hope you enjoy this layout as much as I do. I love scrapping these stories of our life and hope that you’ll take a look at the process video below:
Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you’re having a great week so far!
