Hello once again! I am on a roll this week trying to get all caught up with sharing some recent layouts. I hope you’re enjoying everything!! Today I wanted to share a fun layout I made for a new series I am doing with a really great scrappy friend, Beth Soler, aka Scrapping Wonders.
I have been wanting to do a series using my stash for quite a while now, especially since I went through all my stuff at the end of the summer last year and realized how much of it I really would never use. I gave all that stuff away or sold it and now I only have stuff in my room that I know I will use! I love that feeling!! BUT, I thought it would be fun to do a series using up older stuff in my stash. I asked Beth if she wanted to join me for the series and here we are.
Each week on Thursday we will be posting a layout using our stash. We will also be challenging ourselves to use something specific, like today, we wanted to use frames. Funny story though, I thought I had gotten rid of all my frames in my huge destash last summer, but I was going through my embellishments this week and realized I hadn’t! haha, but for this layout, I hadn’t found them yet so I decided to make my own frames from patterned paper and vellum.
I love this sketch and since I had 2 smallish photos it was going to work perfect for this layout.
I had a really old school paper kit/collection in my stash so I was super excited to be able to pull it out and use it for this layout!! It’s a We R Memory Keepers collection called Hall Pass. I bought it probably at least 4-5 years ago and never really used it.
I love this cluster up at the top! I fussy cut that little banner from one of the papers and then cut out the big and little circles with a punches in my stash. I added a vellum frame that I made and a little circular embellishment and this one was done.
For the title I used an old wood grain alpha that I’ve also had for quite a while and I kept it to a really simple and obvious word. I have a hard time with titles so obvious ones are what I go to a lot of the time.
I love the cute cut out I did of all these sports balls. I thought it was a cute little addition to the cluster with the banner and circles.
I wrote out the date, added a couple ephemera pieces and made 2 little frames for this cluster.
I love these photos of my son playing and hanging out with his friends! Being able to see what my kids at recess was one of my favorite things about working as a playground aide last year.
I hope you enjoyed this layout! I am so excited about this series and can’t wait to bring you more as we go on! Make sure to catch the new one tomorrow!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ll be back a bit later with another layout to share with you!
