Hello everyone!! I hope you are having a great February 1st!! I honestly can’t believe how fast January just FLEW right by!! It’s a little scary!! I am excited to be here with you today though so let’s jump right into the sketch!

I really love this sketch!! Isn’t it wonderful??!! (I’m pretty sure I say that every time I post a new one that Laura has made, but honestly, she is the Sketch Queen!)

And here is my layout that I made! I am so so happy with how it came out! I have been wanting to tell this silly story about Max loving to eat dryer lint for a long time. This sketch was perfect and I’m so happy I got the story told!

I just love that sweet and innocent look on Max’s face in this photo!! You can just hear him saying, “I didn’t do anything” as he stares at you with dryer lint on his nose!!

In the second photo the dryer lint trail he left me kind of blends into the carpet so I made sure to use a white Color Cast Designs arrow to point it out. I really like how that make the layout look and gives it a little more depth.

I decided to outline all the paper layers and do some simple journaling on the craft tag sticking out behind the photos.

I love that this phrase ‘Bright Idea’ was on one of the patterned papers branding strips and definitely knew it had to find itself on this layout! I love it as a little embellishment in this cluster under the photos.

I did some more in depth journaling and put it behind the big doily in a glassine bag. I really love the look of this green with the rest of the layout!
