Hello again crafty friends!! I am back to share another layout I made with the goodies I recieved from Tombow in celebration of National Scrapbook Day.
I got a few different collections in my package and one of them was from Graphic 45 called Mon Amour. I don’t use a whole lot of Graphic 45 products because they are a huge company that produces mainly vintage types of collections and things. When I first saw this collection I really wasn’t too excited about it because I didn’t know how I would incorporate it into my style of scrapbooking.
BUT, since they were so nice to send me the products and they really are gorgeous, I decided to scrap a few layouts with them. This first one I decided to use photos of my son playing with the cinnamon mix we used to make snicker doodles. I wasn’t quite sure how the collection would work with kid photos, but these ones were probably perfect for it. The colors in the photos match the papers pretty closely, which I think helped a lot.
This is my final layout that I made with this collection. I recieved the 12×12 paper pad as well as the 12×12 sticker sheet and the chipboard set. I really loved the chipboard pieces and used a lot of them on this layout. The sticker ‘You Are Loved’ that I used for my title was on the sticker sheet as well as the ‘LOVE’ sticker.
I did my journaling on these 3 chipboard tags that I staggered on the bottom right corner of the layout. I thought that would be a fun way to incorporate these embellishments into the layout and also a unique way to journal. I got some of the Tombow Glue Stick on the middle tag where I was going to journal and it did NOT want to come off so the writing is a bit thicker and darker on the tag because of that. Sometimes you can’t help these types of little accidents.
I really love these photos I took of his hands in the bowl! These are my favorite kinds of candid shots. You don’t always need to get your kids’ faces in a photo. These photos speak a ton about what is actually going on. I love it when a photo can tell a story and you don’t need to do so much journaling.
