Hello and Happy Thanksgiving to all of my American friends out there! We are celebrating at home today and enjoying relaxing with the kids and eating good food.
I wanted to share a layout with you today though, and I hope you like it! I was inspired by this image below:
I loved all the colors and the boxes so this is the layout I created:
Here is my layout. I love the idea of using up scraps from my kit so I placed them behind the photo in a cascading design and added embellishments and stamps around it.
I had this cute little die cut piece that I added up in this right corner with some stamps and a puffy heart.
I used the small tile alpha that came in my kit for my title. It was really long so I decided to stack it on top of the photo in 3 rows. I’m not really sure I like it that way so I might end up changing it. Do you have a suggestion of where I should put it? I’d love to hear where.
I just love this cute little cluster in the bottom left corner of the photo. My son Jonas just looks so happy in the photo so the word ‘blissful’ worked out perfect. I added a cute stamp from my kit and some embellishments and called it good.
This acetate dot paper was actually in my September kit and I had such a hard time using it. I had this little bit left and thought it would go perfect here. I’m glad I saved it and was able to use it here!
Here’s another view of the layout. I had fun making this layout, even though it’s not my most favorite one I’ve made recently, I’m really glad I was inspired by the image in this way and was able to use up a lot of scraps.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, if you’re American.
