Cash Budget Results ~ Week 1

Well, I never actually got any cash to start out this new adventure in budgeting. Mark and I did talk about our budget and discovered some areas I missed and we had to kind of redo it. We spent a good amount of time figuring it out, but we never went back to figuring out the cash end of it.

Add on the fact that Brynnan had a party to celebrate his birthday with his friends, which cost at least $50 and a few other unplanned expenses and we’re now over the budget I so carefully had planned out last week! It frustrates me that I’m not very good at this money stuff.

This week the plan is to not spend any money… BUT I am driving to and from Boise and then next Monday I’m driving all the way down to San Marco, CA! SO, I’ll be using that garage sale money we just made to get me through the gas for these trips. I’m getting really anxious about just getting through all the traveling! Wish me luck!! I’m going to need a lot of it!

Thanks for stopping by! Sorry this post is so short, but I really don’t have much to report. I’m still working it all out and hopefully next week I’ll have more to discuss.

I thought I’d leave you with some musical inspiration, since that’s my favorite thing to do now:)

ARVE Error: need id and provider

LOVE this song:) Hope you enjoy! Have a great day!

  1. I don’t know how I feel about her with straight hair. Hm. And yeah, birthday parties throw the budget totally out of whack. Always. They’re so expensive. You can start over when you get back. Drive safely today!!
