Hi, my crafty friends! I finally was able to sit down and do a flip through of my December Daily! Yay! I love that I am finished with it and proud of myself that I actually finished it. I didn’t even start making the pages with my photos until January 11th! It was just so crazy and I wasn’t feeling the same mojo I did with my December Daily 2014 album. I think my problem was that I was trying to make it perfect and I just really needed to start scrapbooking it all and getting it done. Once I started not thinking to hard about it I was able to go with the flow of the album.
Here is my album share on YouTube:
And here are some photos of a few of the pages in my album:
This is my cover for the album. I mainly used the Christmas Wishes collection from Pink Fresh Studio. The big numbers for the year are wood veneer pieces from Studio Calico that I painted using Happy Hues Amiable Aqua from Jillibean Soup. I also used American Crafts Thickers called Cecily for the /December Daily’ title. The glitter tape I got at Michaels with a coupon.
This is my intro page. I got the idea from another scrapbooker, but I can’t remember who it was, unfortunately. I used this gold rosette 3D emellishment from a Dear Lizzy pack. The numbers are from my favorite Thicker set called Cecily by American Crafts.
Day 2 was a simple spread. I love these photos of my dog and my youngest son.
I LOVED this photo I took of my middle son playing the piano at his teachers house for his lesson that week. I blew it up to 6×8 and added some glitter tape at the top and bottom to fit it into the page protector.
Day 5 I used a 4×6 add on pocket and I really like how that worked out.
I think this day 14 number card turned out great and is my favorite one! I love the colors of the teal, red and kraft together.
We went to the school movie at the theater this night so there was a lot of Joy going on! Going to the movies is a lot of fun, even as an adult!
I did journaling on a lot of the photos with Teresa Collins little alphas.
This was Star Wars day!! My hubby went with his friend and he actually took some photos for me! I was so excited!
This is another one of my favorite cards as well as the one below from Christmas Eve.
Christmas day was a lot of fun and I took tons of photos so I picked out as many as I wanted and put them all in pockets! I have 6 pages for this day and it makes me happy I included all of these photos.
I loved these two cards I added to one of the pages. I didn’t really need to do a whole lot of journaling this day so there were a few pockets I was able to make filler cards for. It was a lot of fun!
I did decide to go all the way to the 31st of December. I didn’t dedicate a whole page to each day after Christmas, but it was nice to include those days after THE big day. I didn’t do that last year in my album so I thought I would mix it up a little bit.
Well, thanks for stopping by today!! I hope you enjoyed seeing my December Daily album!! Make sure you watch the video if you’d like a little more in depth explanation and more photos of the album.
Have a great day!
