Silhouette Saturday ~ Valentine’s Day Cards

I am excited to announce that I made my first Etsy sale this week!! I opened Dec 8th, but I’ve been so busy I haven’t been able to advertise that much. I’ve been trying to get into the Etsy forums and favoriting shops more so hopefully that will get my shop name out there and more people will visit, which will hopefully lead to more sales. I finally decided to put my Christmas clips on sale and my sister Kaylee saw that on facebook so she bought them:) I was really excited!!

This was a fun set to make. I really love the Christmas tree!!

Anyway, onto todays post~ it has to do with the Silhouette and my Etsy shop. I love both, but I’m not being too succesful with my Etsy shop so I’m going to have a little giveaway to hopefully get things moving in the sales department.

I have a Valentine’s Day card pack that I have in my store right now that I had a lot of fun making. I made all of the shapes on the cards with my Silhouette:

I had so much fun making them!! (Except the one on the far right, I made that one years ago and just recently realized I haven’t used it. It’s in amazingly good condition!)

The fun thing about this card set is that it come with a FREE 4th card!

The heart shape I used on this card came with the Silhouette Studio program. I was able to use the cut out inside pieces for another Vday card. I love the way this one turned out!

I love the rounded edges on this card and all the hard lines.

And this one is my most favorite of them all. I got the idea from pinterest. This is the actual inspiration piece:

I love the colors of the hearts, but my paper stash has dwindled down. I thought I’d never do much paper scrapbooking or card making ever again, but here I am doing it more. And if you can’t tell, the free card in this set is also inspired by this design. I had fun modifying it to fit me and what I liked.

The pink heart card was inspired by this card on pinterest:

CUTE, right? I don’t think my cards will ever look this amazing, but I like to try. The one thing that I just can’t get into are the embellishments that some scrappers use!! But they’re SO much money that I have to just use paper and buttons. Maybe someday I’ll be able to buy the expensive fun stuff:)

Anyway, so that is the card set that I am selling on Etsy right now. Starting today I am having a 40% sale on everything that is for Valentine’s Day. Do you have girls? Check out the Valentine’s Day hair clips I have in my shop!

If having the Valentine’s Day items on sale isn’t enough I’ll be hosting a give away to my shop. You could win a $5 gift card to my shop and right now if you spend $15 you will receive FREE shipping!!

To win the giveaway all you have to do is:

1. Be a follower of my blog.

2. Like JobryCreations on facebook.

3.  Follow me on pinterest.

4. Go to my shop and tell me what your favorite item is!!

5. Blog about or share this giveaway on facebook!!

After doing each of these things leave a separate comment telling me each one that you did. So, for example, if I did 1, 2 and 4 I would leave 3 different comments. It gives you a better chance to win:)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’re having a great weekend!!

  1. Wowwwww, Meggie! Look at you! I sure do love me some cards. These are adorable. I’ll have to send you a pic of some birthday cards I’ve been making. And I’m hoping to have time to make and send some Valentine’s Day cards to family and friends, but, um, I’m running out of time! Hahaha!

  2. I don’t have any girls to get cute headbands and bows, :(… so I’d have to say my fave thing on your shop is the Vday cards! Very cute!
