Hello there! I’m excited I made it back this week and have an EASY and thrifty craft project for everyone, even those of you who think you aren’t crafty. This project seriously requires no craftiness at all! 🙂
Ok, here’s a list of everything you need:
*White trash bag
* Plastic grocery bags or newspaper/magazines
*Permanent marker
*Yarn or string (Not pictured)
*Scissors (Not pictured)
I laid out the trash bag on the couch and used the marker to make a face for my little ghost. Then I stuffed the grocery bags in the bottom of the white trash bag. I then grabbed my yarn and tied it at the bottom of where the grocery bags were. I tucked the corners of the trash bag into the tie so the ghost was more round than pointy.
Sorry I didn’t take any in the process pictures. This was a really quick project and I decided to do it while the boys were reading before going to school one morning this week so it was a really QUICK project! It took me about 8 minutes between getting all the supplies together, doing the project, hanging it up and taking the pictures. Told ya it was EASY! 🙂
Here it is hanging in our tree. It turned out pretty good for an 8 minute craft project! 🙂 I might make another one or two so this guy isn’t lonely hanging out there all by himself! 🙂
Up front this project didn’t cost me a thing since I used stuff I already had around the house. I had to pay for the trash bags and I paid for the stuff that came home in the grocery bags, but this is seriously the most thrifty craft project I have EVER made! 🙂 I’m pretty proud of myself!
What have you been creating lately for this scary holiday we have coming up? I have another FUN and scary project to show you later this week or next week so keep your eyes open for that! I can’t wait to show it to you!
