Whatever Wednesday ~ 4th of July Dress

I know you’ve all been dying to see this dress, besides the crappy picture I took at the Market on Saturday. It turned out a lot better than I thought it would!! Once I sat down and read the directions after cutting out the pattern I had little confidence in myself to get it done on time and have it actually be wearable! lol BUT I did it and I LOVE it!! I totally wish I had a little girl to have wear it! I would probably make her wear it every day! Yeah, that’s how proud I am with myself for doing this project!! So, here it is:

In all it’s 4th of July glory:)

The view from the back with the ribbon.

The pattern wanted you to use some of the fabric for the tie, but I decided not to because I wanted something to separate the top and bottom pieces (it was actually my husbands idea. Isn’t it good to have someone to bounce ideas off of? They end up giving you some great ones!:) hehe Thanks hon!)

CUTE!!! I LOVE the 4th of July print that my hubs helped me pick out!!

What do you think? Be honest here!! I want to know the truth! This is my first dress and I’m pleased with myself, but I know it’s not perfect!!! I am excited to recieve your opinions and criticism though so be completely truthful! I can handle it:)

I’m already wondering what pattern I’ll do next! I totally want to make another one! I should probably wait until this one sells though since this one cost a ton of money in fabric!:) But it was so worth it!! I posted it in my etsy shop so you can view/buy it here🙂

Thanks for stopping by!! Hope you have a wonderful day!
