It’s been a long time since I’ve done one of these posts so I thought I should and give you an update!! My goal was to run a 5k, the color run, by this month. Well, that isn’t going to happen because, #1 I stopped running after the boys got out of school and we’ve been really busy!! #2 the color run isn’t going to be in Boise until the end of Oct. That’s a bummer! I guess it would give me more time to get into shape again, but I have to go to Boise for an appt. with Jonas on Oct. 1st so it would be too much money to go back later in the month, unfortunately!
Anyway, onto today’s post, I retook my measurements and weight. this time I decided to measure my thighs and arms as well to get the best results. I know I have gained weight because my jeans are getting tighter around my waist and thighs. UGH!!:P
So here are my new measurements:
Waist ~ 41
Stomach ~ 40
Thighs ~ 24
Upper arms ~ 11 1/2
Calves ~ 14 1/2
I weighed myself: 153.4
*SIGH* so I have a lot of work to do! My goal is to lose 25 lbs in 6 months. I don’t know if I can do it, but I hope I can!!
Besides working out, I need to start eating more healthy. It will be good for me and also my family, so I’m going to start looking into changing our diet. It’s going to be hard, especially on the kids, but it’s something that we need to do! mark and I have been talking about it for years, it’s just hard to get started!! I’m sure it’s also hard to stick to it!
Yesterday I did 20 minutes of Zumba on the Wii. I usually only do 20 minutes when working out on the wii, but when I got to a class it’s an hour long so I should probably step it up when I’m at home!!:)
Since the kids are still at home I’m going to either go at 6am before the hubs goes to work or at 4:30 pm after he comes home. Yesterday I worked out after dinner. We ate a little late so by the time I started it was already 6:40 and I want to take a shower and get the kids in bed by 8. Otherwise, I would’ve waited until my food had time to settle!! I don’t recommend doing Zumba right after eating! lol It was a good workout after taking a 3 month break. I’m looking forward to working out again today. I think I might do Zumba again or I might do the EA active 2 on the PlayStation 3. That one is an intense workout!! I’m actually looking forward to working out:) What have you been doing?
