Hellllooo scrapbookers!! I am so happy to be back today to share a summer long series I will be participating in. So, my friend Christy, Christy’s Beautiful Life on YouTube, hosted the 30Days of Sketches series on her channel in May. I made a few layouts along with her but wasn’t able to do all of them. I have challenged myself to pick a new sketch each week of the summer and post it every Tuesday! Yay!! I’m so excited to do this. I hope you will enjoy!

Today is the first sketch and I am starting with Day #3. Here’s the sketch she chose:

I had a few different ideas for this layout, but ultimately I decided to keep it simple and stick with the 3 photos. I thought about possibly doing a summer family reunion layout with a pop out for extra photos, but I remembered I’m trying to keep life simple. I love the layout I ended up making below.

I have been scrapping a lot of my dog photos lately and I love it. I pulled out my favorite Paige Evans collection ‘Pick Me Up’ and had so much fun making this one!!

Since I was scrapping 3 photos and 2 different “events” I decided this type of layout worked well with splitting the photos up.

I did my journaling on the side next to the photos and added a lot more embellishments and layering than I normally do.

With this photo and cluster I also add my journlinag and the title is a part of this cluster. I really love all the layering I ended up adding behind the photos!
