Hi, scrappers!! I have a bunch of layouts to share with you today!! I killed my August Clique Kits kit really well! You can find the video below:
I had a lot of fun with this kit!! I ordered a TON of the add-ons and I’m so surprised I used most all of them up!!
This is the first layout I made and it was for the Clique Kits Pep Rally. You can check out the post I wrote up back in August with the other pictures of the layout here. You can find the process video on my YouTube channel here.
I LOVE this simple and fun layout! These pictures of my oldest son, Jonas are my favorite! He loves eating cotton candy. I used a cut file that came with the kit for the title and I just colors it with Heidi Swapp Color Shine Teal and Butter. There’s no video for this layout, unfortunately.
For this layout I used a Shimelle collection paper for the background. Everything else on here was from the kit. I wanted this layout to be simple and fun because next to this is going to be a PL page with photos that go along with it. You can find the process video for this layout here.
These are the front and backs of the PL pages that will go next to the above layout called ‘How to Build a Fort’. I did a little bit of embellishing on some of the photos, but mainly kept these pages simple. I wanted the focus to be the photos.
You can find the process video for the PL pages here.
This is one of my favorite layouts from this kit. I loved the idea of using those little candy dot embellishments and keeping the embellishing on a diagonal so that’s what I did. This layout was really easy to make. There isn’t a process video for it.
These next two PL pages will go next to the above one of our puppy that we brought home in August.
For this layout I wanted to use up that lemon background paper, but I didn’t want it to stand out so much so I covered it up with some gesso. I really love the look! I also did some simple layering behind the photo and across the layout and s few different clusters with embellishments. You can find the process video here.
For this layout I used some photos of my oldest son Jonas at swimming lessons last year. I love the 3 clusters of summer goodness embellishments. I thought I was so cleaver using the 2 different wood veneers as my title. This layout has a process video you can find here.
The title for this layout is the little flair badge that says ‘We Make a Great Pear’. I just though it was so cute and had to include it. I got the inspiration for this layout from Hannah Lemieux on YouTube. You can find her layout here. My process video for this layout is on my channel here.
I made this layout for a challenge issued by Hannah Lemieux during my week long school themed layout celebration. The photos are of some drawings my middle son, Brynnan, made for his 3rd grade teachers end of the year present as well as the little cupcake box I made for her with my Silhouette Cameo. Hannah’s challenge was to use scraps that were on your desk so I decided to use the branding strips from the papers in the kit and a few other scraps from the kit. There isn’t a video for this layout, either.
This layout I made as a challenge with 2 fellow YouTube friends. We challenged ourself to use a sketch and I kind of made the sketch my own and I love how it turned out! You can find the process video on my channel here. You can also find the layouts that Roni Sue Scrapper and Jennifer Cambridge made by clicking on their names.
I made this layout for a Crafty Maven Getaway video. This one didn’t turn out as great as I had hoped, but I still like it. I’m glad I was able to use up most of that flamingo acetate! The 2 papers that I mounted the photo on are actually from the Shimelle True Stores collection, but I like how they made the photo pop off the page so that’s why I used them. Also, I didn’t have any other papers left in the kit to use! lol
You can find the video for this layout here.
I made this layout right as I was putting my kit away. I didn’t think I could get another layout done, but I proved myself wrong! I’m so glad I did. I love this simple layout and how I used up a lot of that pineapple washi tape. This one took about 30 minutes, if even that, and I don’t have a video for it because I made it on a whim and didn’t press record. Sometimes I just feel like I need to not record every layout I make. It gives me a little more freedom.
So, that is what I made with the August Clique Kit! I LOVED this kit! I made 12 layouts and 3 PL pages (front and back). I am missing a couple pages I think, so if you want to see all of the layouts in order please wath the video at the beginning of the post.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!!
