Hello and welcome back on this Tuesday! I hope you had a great weekend! Mine was busy with lots of scrapbooking and laundry.
Let’s jump right into the layout spread I’m sharing with you today.
You can find my process video below:
And here are some photos and close ups.
For this layout I decided to use 2 challenges. The first one was for my Scrappy Challenges group. This week we are challenging you to pick a sketch and scrap a layout. This is the sketch that I picked to use, which was actually a sketch I found through the Crafty Maven Getaway channel.
I realized after taking the photos that I was missing an ‘s’!! I knew I wasn’t the most observant person but holy cow!! That’s so bad I didn’t realize it was gone in this photo!! Haha
I used a Silhouette cut file from their design store to make an arrow to point out the ball that my son had hit. It wasn’t really obvious so I wanted to make sure it was pointed out in the photo.
I wanted to make sure there was a cluster up in the left hand corner to balance the whole page.
For the pocket page I decided to stick with the photos as the main focus. I used a 4×6 card from a Becky Higgins Project Life Kit for the journaling/title card.
I did a little bit of journaling on the bottom left pocket, but I wanted to make sure you knew what was going on in each photo so I used white and black Teresa Collins alpha stickers to do some simple journaling on top of the photos.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!!
