Hello my scrappy friends!! I have a fun layout for you today using my November For the love of homemade kits Kit today. Whew!! That was a mouthful!! lol
For this layout I knew I wanted to use 2 photos of my oldest son at the age or 4 or 5 puting on his braces all by himself. I’ve always wanted him to be able to be independent, even though he does have a handicap.
I love that these photos are so close up on his hands and his braces. That makes you focus on the fact he’s being independent.
I was able to use a lot of the chipboard pieces from the kit as well as little labels from the ephemera pack.
I have wanted to use the ‘AM’ wood veneer for a while and just haven’t found a good use for it. Jonas puts his braces on every morning after sleeping without them on so this was the perfect layout to use the embellishment for!
I put washi tape in the bottom right and top left corners for a little extra touch.
We had put a stamp set in our kits and I’m so glad I found a use for the one I put in! I’m horrible about using stamps on my layout, but this one ‘The Sky’s the Limit’ was PERFECT!! I added cute little suns around the title and I am very pleased with how this layout just came together!
Here you can watch the process video:
Thanks for stopping by today!! I hope you’re having a great week!
