Hello scrappers!! I have a super exciting and fun new series I am participating in with my friend Iris Fox, aka whimsyfox. I absolutely adore her style and the inspiration she brings to the community. I was SO sosososo excited when she asked me if I wanted to do this series with her.Without fursther ado, here is our monthly challenge….

Each month we will take turns picking a layout or sketch that inspires us and create a double page layout. For this month, I picked this layout by Rosey_Posey. I love her scrappy style and couldn’t wait to create a layout based on this one:

Here is the layout I made and I am so in love with it:

I wanted to keep the girly feel of the scraplift so I chose photos of the night that I brought our girl dog, Piper home for the first time. I used mixed media and a lot of purple and pink.

I LOVE the look of the twine holding the photos and their layers up like a clothes line.

I made sure to add a lot of paper layering behind the photos. I love how this looks!!

These are some of my favorite photos and I am so happy to have them scrapped now!

 

I love this cute little cluster that I added by the title. This was totally a copy of the scraplift. I love this Maggie Holmes butterfly and that cute little pink bow is just perfect!

 

I am so beyond happy with how this double page layout turned out!! I totally want to make another layout similar to this. I was so nervous about the layering but it turned out amazing!!
