Hello my friends! I have a new layout to share with you today. I made this one way back in September when I was finishing up my kit and trying to use up a few of my scraps. I used this sketch by Laura Whitaker as inspiration:
I really love it, but totally made the layout my own. I love how it turned out. Here is my take:
I really LOVE these photos so I had a hard time with this layout. I needed it to be absolutely perfect and I worked on it for about an hour and it just wasn’t working. Finally, I decided to turn my camera off and just play around with things and I came out with a layout I am so so so happy with! Sometimes just having the camera recording is too much and I have to turn it off.
For the title I knew I wanted to use the 2 different alphas included in my kit. The pink fit perfectly with the background paper and the gold fit because of the yellows in the papers and embellishments.
I got a set of these cute mason jars in my kit and hadn’t used a single one so I put some sequins in them and made it a little shaker embellishment and I LOVE how it turned out!!
The washi tape and bow added a finishing touch to the mason jar. I added a few die cut feathers and some more twine and stickers to the bottom of the cluster to finish it off. I think this part of the layout is my favorite.
I wanted to spice up the photos a little so I added the left over twine around the edge of both photos. To cover up the blemishes in the photo of the marshmallows I put a little sticker that said ‘YOU’ on top of it. Now you can hardly see the scratch!
I glued sequins in the empty space between the title and above the mason jar. That worked perfect to kill of the trapped space between them.

I hope you enjoyed seeing this layout! I am really loving being a part of Khristina’s kit club. She is an amazing kit curator and if you aren’t a member you need to run over to her website to sign up!! You can find the sign up form here.
